Craftsman Bottle Opener

I’ve been working in different shops for the last 3+ years, and one of my favorite times of the week is Beer O’clock (sometimes called Beer Thirty).  It seems to be a standard across all shops (probably offices too). The closer you get to Friday afternoon the more you want a beer, and when you work with tools, there’s no better way to open your beers than with this new Craftsman Bottle Opener.  Made with the same Handle that all their lifetime gaurenteed screwdrivers are, and with a leather strap to hang it by, since it’s sure to become the most used tool in your box.

Baby shower letters B

This B is my second favorite letter.  We bought the B premade from Michael’s.  It’s made of Painted MDF. I must have drilled 200+ holes around the edges and then glued+hammered each pin in place.  After that my longtime friend Jaclyn took over with the bright blue embroidery thread.

I’ve resisted posting about this so far, but this is really cool. My wife recently threw a baby shower for her best friend. The goal was to craft all 26 alphabet letters to hang on the nursery wall. This P made of crayons is by far one of my favorites. The hot glue lets the P sit just off the foamcore giving the whole P a nice drop shadow. I’ll post one or two more of the best. -Jake
